Shipping: 

Deliveries sent daily via Australia Post or TNT Road Express with reasonable rates & cheaper shipping at the checkout with bulk purchases ~ please get in touch if you have a few items in mind and would like a quote pre-purchase.  Local collection in store available - please only choose this option if you are able to do so.

Shipping:   Shipping is covered with Australia Post Regular Postage and TNT Road Express except for some larger items that will need a specific freight quote to get them to where you live! We endeavour to ship all orders placed Monday to Friday before 2pm by 5pm the same day. Any orders placed after Friday 2pm and through the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday.

All items have their actual or cubic weights added together at the checkout for your final shipping cost.  Generally, the combination of multiple items means the shipping cost per item goes down rather than up. 

For example:

1 x Vase = 1-3kg Australia Post  = $18.00 - cost per item = $18.00

1 x Vase/1 x Necklace/1 x Journal/1 x card

= 3-5kg Australia Post = $22.00  - cost per item = $4.50   

Whereby the weight combines to tip over to a large weight/size, we will contact you with a shipping quote at the best possible price to your location. We always endeavour to combine safe packaging with cost effective shipping and will email you your shipping cost advice & a separate Paypal shipping invoice as soon as humanly possible.

We guarantee to make sure that all your lovely purchases leave the store in excellent condition and always wrap them securely with tissue/bubble wrap/cardboard and whatever is needed to help ensure that your package is delivered safely. To assist our nation's lovely delivery men & women, we also line all our boxes with 3mm wood panel when the contents are considered breakable. This has proved to be fail safe so far and prevented your ceramics becoming a mosaic project.

Please be aware that delivery’s by Australia Post will be made during work hours - parcels not safe to be left at your door may be better off sent to an alternative address where someone is available to receive them ie. work. If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order, we will notify you via email. Australia Post Regular Postage provides a tracking code that we will email you so you are able to track your parcel via the Australia Post website. TNT Road Express provide a consignment number which we will also pass on to you via email. Delivery times are approximate and dependent on your location.

Furniture, Artwork & Bulky Items:  These items are generally heavy, awkward or large and freight costs can be high. Freight varies between locations quite widely so to avoid disappointment, please contact us via email for an individual freight quote to your location BEFORE deciding on your purchase. Returns & Exchanges:  

Whilst we are sure you will love all our beautiful products, if you are unhappy with your purchase you can return it for an exchange or store credit. You will need to pay the postage on any items returned and also the postage of your replacement item. The product returned must be as new - this return policy does not apply to goods which have been worn, used or damaged after delivery. All items returned to The Brightside Store must be returned in any supplied box or original packaging. The Brightside Store will not accept any items for exchange or store credit that do not meet these requirements.

Before you return the item, you must notify us via email. Please include your name, date of purchase, your reason for return and whether you would like an exchange or store credit. (If exchanging or using your store credit for another item, please be sure to include details of what item you would like!) We will then contact you via email to confirm the acceptance of return of your original purchase. Once the item has been received at The Brightside Store and is certified to be in new condition with its original packaging, we will then proceed with your request of exchange or store credit. We will contact you for payment of postage for any new exchange items. Returned goods need to be returned within 14 days of dispatch to the following address:

Damaged Items:  As mentioned above, we securely pack all our parcels with much care and line all our boxes with 3mm wood panel when the contents are considered breakable. We have had only one breakage in 2 years using this method. If you do receive your order & it is clearly damaged with broken goods inside, please take some photo's of the outside & inside of the box (with contents) and email them to us at hello@thebrightsidestore.com.au . We will then be in contact to arrange a refund or replacement of your goods.
